A 6 1/2 hour train journey would take us to Cornwall on Easter Sunday. We started at Waterloo station with breakfast.
Went through Salisbury where the steeple of Salisbury Cathedral could be seen in the distance.
Saw lots of rolling green hills with sheep.
and eventually rode along near the ocean
Took a walk in Penzance which has a population of about 21,000.
Had Cornish seafood, Cornish fish, new potatoes and Cornish wine for dinner.
Finished with apple tart and clotted cream that is fattier than butter.
