The conference is being held in very air conditioned rooms.  Over the lunch break I went outside to warm up.  I warmed up very fast in the 37 degree heat.

An evening reception was held in Dolley Madison’s House, where the wife of President James Madison lived after her husband died.  The house is now part of the building for the US Court of Appeals Federal Circuit.  It has been restored to its 1800s origins.
