Roma: day 21: shopping, eating

Carmen and Allie’s last day in Rome was spent strolling familiar and unfamiliar streets as we looked in shops for souvenirs and tasty items.

A quick look into Sant’Agostino to see Caravaggio’s Madonna dei Pellegrini.

Not much photo taking as we were enjoying the sunshine and the easy paced walk.

Lunched in a tent in Campo de’Fiori.

Did some shopping and strolling in the area.

More stolpersteine
Taralli, bagel-like crackers

Our last dinner with Allie and Carmen was at Pierluigi also outside in a tent.

Our antipasti of amber jack tartare, cuttlefish stew, and carciofi alle giudea was inhaled so quickly, no one took a photo.

Fregola, razor clams, turnip greens
Mixed fried seafood
Roasted suckling pig, potatoes, black truffle, kale
Fusilli, black truffle, mushrooms
Pineapple, vanilla gelato
Settiveili, a chocolate cake with raspberry sauce and berry sorbet
Nocciola gelato and mixed berries
