Frankfurt Historisches Museum

We strolled towards the Main River from Ostend (east end).

We then followed the river towards Zentrum, the historic centre.

Frankfurt’s Domkirche, which was re-created after WWII but not with the original materials.

The Römer, City Hall, and the square in front of it is near the Frankfurt historical museum, Historisches Museum.

I had been to the museum before but did not realize there were two separate buildings. We spent most of the time visiting the one that held excavated buildings and items from the site, and the upper floors with collections from donors. The collections were eclectic, to say the least. Everything from ancient coins, butterflies, navigation equipment to miniatures of paintings.

Sat outside for lunch again.

Lots of dogs enjoying lunchtime.
