Saturday morning in the Marktplatz:

Fruit, vegetables, flowers and food stands were in the main square. By the afternoon, only the food stalls remained.

We wandered in the sunshine enjoying that the predicted rain was not happening. We mostly window shopped as a lot of small shops were closed.

Scott liked these bathrooms.

Lunch involved more spargel, a cream of asparagus soup. Scott had a burger.

We went to a good wine shop, Paul Ullrich.

We had an uneventful afternoon.

Dinner was at Latini, a very busy place.

We’ve made good use of the Basel trams and buses this trip. It saves sore knees.
