Frankfurt on Foot

Took a walking tour of Frankfurt.

We started near the Schirn, the highest point where a fort was established. 

We looked at the town square, where city hall still exists and where Holy Roman Emperors would celebrate their cornation:

The only building In the area to survive WW II:

Museum of German parliament in a former Lutheran Church:
Original fresco in 18th century convent:

House where Goethe was born above.

The tower we saw Thursday, which was part of the old city wall.
