Wednesday’s Westward Walk

We headed west from Penzance to Newlyn and Mousehole (pronounced Mauw-zill).

Walk was along the South West Coast Path.

Newlyn Harbour:

Mousehole Harbour:

Back in Newlyn, we had a Cornish Pasty, basically a meat stew in pastry.

Then ice cream from a small shop that makes it daily.

Rome’s gelato shops need not worry about competition.

Back in Penzance, having had no alcohol, we stopped for some wine along the Penzance wharf.

Dinner was at the Old Lifeboat House Bistro, a rstaurant in an old lifeboat house next to the harbour.
