To Prague

Just over an hour driving from Vienna and we hit the border of Austria and Cech Republic. Our first stop next to the border was a weird Soviet era shopping and amusement complex. Kind of a rundown Las Vegas. But toilets were free to use.

We stopped for lunch in the town of Telc (with an accent on the c, and rhymes with belch) which features a town square with buildings conserved from the Renaissance and Baroque periods.

A few more hours driving and we were into Prague.

We had time to walk around before dinner.

Cobblestones everywhere. This was in front of a synagogue:20897473-045D-46E3-86E4-57D8EF07B92D_1_105_c1E37FCF3-0935-4219-AC5B-5D1EA266855D_1_105_c

The city is also known as the city of spires. We got a sense of this on our after dinner stroll:4669BFBD-A969-4AE6-9C10-9DFF6B257085_1_105_c
