The ferry from Stresa to Cannero Riviera was a bit of a milk run that stopped at islands, and little spots on both sides of Lago Maggiore before eventually reaching our destination, a small village which is built on the lakefront and stretches up the steep mountain side.  It took about 1 hour and 15 minutes but the boat ride was a good opportunity to look at a lot of spots on the lake.
