Our last part day in Stresa, we did a walk looking at historical buildings and places of interest.  The interest level was rather low. The hotel, Grand Hotel Iles des Borromeos, was where Ernest Hemmingway stayed convalescing during WWI and wrote some of Farewell to Arms. That struck me as the most interesting.  Scott checked out the rocks in the lake.  Italians have a funny way of spelling ‘doggy’.
