Milan tour

Friday afternoon was our walking tour.  We started at the Teatro Scala, the opera house, then the Museum of Contemporary Art which is in a building that used to be a bank and originally was a mansion, then through Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele II, to Il Duomo, then Santa Maria della Grazie where we got our 15 minutes to see the Last Supper, and finally to Castello Sforza where we looked at the Museum of Arte Antica that includes a room with a ceiling decorated by Leonardo and one of Michelangelo’s last sculptures.  We refreshed ourselves with our first gelati and discovered outside the Castello Sforza there’s a gelato festival happening this weekend.
