On our last full day in Edinburgh, we went to the zoo. Edinburgh’s zoo has penguins which were a lot of fun to watch as they zipped between pools of water. We also looked at the big cats and African animals.

We poached a haggis we had bought at Tesco and served it as appetizers once Robin and Bill arrived for dinner. Dinner was steak and scotch pies also bought from Tesco.

The next day we left at 5 a.m. to catch our flight to London and then the noon flight from London to Calgary.
