Scott went to Clydebank to explore the area where his grandfather came from. He was taken around by a very helpful driver named Joe Dugan.
Meanwhile, I went to the Burrell Collection, an art gallery and other curiosities housed in a park like estate outside of Glasgow centre. I returned to downtown and looked at the McLellan Galleries. I didn’t take any photos.
We joined up in the afternoon and had lunch at the Horseshoe Bar where we observed some people eating macaroni and chips. Scary Scottish diet.
Did some shopping on Buchanan Street.
When we were heading for dinner, we had trouble getting a taxi because of the Celtics football match that evening. Eventually found one and went to Arisaig, a Scottish restaurant. The decor was interesting.
We left at about 10:45 the next morning and arrived in Calgary about noon.
