On my way to my morning class, I stopped to fill my water bottle at Fontana dei Libri (Fountain of the Books) which is part of the wall of La Sapienza. Sant’Ivo is on the other side of this wall. As La Sapienza is a university, a fountain of books is appropriate.

There was a yellow thunderstorm warning last night but I didn’t hear anything. However, a lot of rain must have fallen as water had not yet drained from some areas including in Piazza Navona. It created some interesting reflections.

My gelato consumption has been down because of feeling unwell. But after class I went back to Gelateria del Teatro for nocciola di Langhe (an area in Piedmont famous for hazelnuts) and cioccolato Belgo (Belgium). The nocciola had some chunks of hazelnut.

Walking back to the apartment to finish my homework and have some lunch after already had dessert, I noticed this column and marble post imbedded in the corner of the building. It is one of the thing I enjoy about Italy. Instead of removing an old ruin, just make it part of a new construction.

More Christmas decorations appearing.

When you have a small store front, decorating the whole thing is easy.

Last day going into the scuola.

Got my completion certificate (a bit worse for wear from my backpack). Notice it says nothing about being competant at the level.

Piazza Navona at night where some Christmas lights were also going up on the shops surrounding the Piazza.

Back to the apartment to make dinner and pack. I am afraid not everything will fit. I still can use stuff I bought such as the shampoo, conditioner, sunscreen, body lotion, toothpaste, makeup and nail polish remover, . . . I won’t have a kitchen to cook in but I have snacks which I could eat: cioccolatini, nuts, taralli, biscotti, patatine, . . .

And I have some books and a collection of pharmaceuticals!
