We left rainy Dublin in the morning to fly to London City Airport.

We were late leaving

but the flight was only 1 hour

We took the DLR train which went direct to Bank station

It took less than 20 minutes—much faster than a taxi.

We are staying in serviced apartments in a building on Cannon Street, close to Saint Paul’s Cathedral.

Had an afternoon of getting a very late lunch while watching Man City and Chelsea in the FA Cup final (soccer/football), getting groceries and doing laundry.
The view from the apartment. The church is St Mary Aldermary or Elder Mary by the office of Christopher Wren. Unlike most Wren churches, this one is Gothic Revival whereas most buildings directly designed by Wren would be considered English Baroque style.
