Giornata 79: L’ultimo sabato

This is the last Saturday in Paris, in Europe. People were not feeling well and the weather is very chilly—barely above freezing.

We went shopping so Scott could get some things to help ward off the cold weather. While he looked in Samaritaine, I checked out views of Saint Germaine L’Auxerrois.

We had lunch on the fifth floor where we could enjoy the Art Nouveau decor.

Scott went for a nap. I went to Saint Eustache, another Gothic church with flamboyant Gothic elements.

The church has a small Tintoretto.

I wandered about about the area exploring and also buying some chocolates and caramels. Gallerie Vivienne is decorated for Christmas.

Palais Royale gardens look suitably winter bleak.

People were enjoying the Colonnes de Buren.

Outside the Comedie Francaise people were dancing to the buskers.

For dinner we went to Willi’s Wine Bar.
