We travelled by train from Milan to Marseille or Marsiglio in Italian.

The train goes to Genoa and then along the coast.

Great views of the sea. Not so great photos from across the aisle of the carriage.

We changed trains in Venitmiglia, a tiny Italian village next to the border with France. Train station was tiny as well with limited food options.

Then the train continues to Nice.

Almost 9 hours later, the train arrived in Marseille.
