Ventiquattresimo giorno: Camogli

The rain finally stopped and some sun appeared. We skipped our morning class so Scott could ring shop and then we just sat in the sunshine.

My cough had improved so we joined the day’s outing. A 8-9 minute train ride heading towards Genoa gets you to the small town of Camogli.

We wandered on our own around the town.

The church, Santa Maria Assunta, had a great view outside as well as a Baroqued inside.

We did not get any information about the town but just enjoyed the view. Lunch also included a view.

Our sketch class was outside with a view.

And cocktails

We returned and Scott picked up his re-sized ring.

For dinner we returned to Hostaria Vecchia Rapallo.

Chard ravioli with tartuffo nero. Below Varonoff bistecca, which is steak with a sauce of mustard, cream, tabasco, Worchestershire and cognac.

Panna cotta with coffee and dark chocolate cake (more like a brownie) with vanilla gelato.
