Taking KLM to Amsterdam for the first leg of my journey

A little champagne and a sleeping pill and I slept until breakfast.

Not sure what I ate—some kind of porridge with fruit, egg with potatoes?, croissant— could not manage the ham, cheese or smoked salmon.
The flight left late but made up most of the delay and landed at 8 am. It look an hour to get through passport control for non-EU passports.
I headed to the KLM lounge. There are two at Schiphol. This one is not as fancy as the two level one we went to last year. No Dutch houses on display.

Finished the only book I brought. Real page turner but too short. It’s soon to be a movie with Ralph Fiennes and Stanley Tucci.

Then I had to try to stay awake and kill time until my flight to Milan.
Looked for a bookstore. My Schiphol app directed me to an empty store.

Couldn’t find one anywhere in the terminal area where I was due to depart from.

Bussed to the plane and had to carry my bags up the stairs

Business on the City hopper isn’t fancy.

But I had two seats to myself and pancakes for lunch.

More bus upon arrival in Milano.
