We were going to look at the Palace of the Grandmaster, but it was closed to prepare for some European Union meeting. Instead a marquis named Nicholas de Piro toured us around his historic home in the historic centre of Valletta called Casa Rocca Picola.

His narration about his family and home was amusing.

Then, we walked to the Armoury of the Knights of Malta.

After lunch, we coached to Malta’s airport for our flight back to London.  Flight was late. Arrived in the evening and spent the night at Heathrow to head homeward in the morning.
