Thursday return to London

The return train stopped less so was 5 1/2 hours which we spent mainly having lunch in the dining car.

We returned to Paddington station then to Avo Hotel, a quirky but affordable place on Dalston Lane in north London.

After checking into our hotel, we returned to Tate Modern so I could buy a magnet.E4BAAA26-1E46-45A1-BB92-E1BBA66A1D2D_1_105_c

Also needed a map because I left mine with Robin. Then we went off walking in rush hour crowds. Ended up in Clerkenwell for a drink. The Artisan was too loud.16CE1F21-B51B-4E85-A46B-B2DF1FF06ACA_1_105_c

Went nearby to the Zetter Hotel lobby lounge.99246461-BF50-4BF0-916F-F2F0D2AB5697_1_105_c

Dinner was at Modern Pantry where the menu was eclectic fusion with Middle Eastern and Japanese spices and flavours.
