The return train stopped less so was 5 1/2 hours which we spent mainly having lunch in the dining car.

We returned to Paddington station then to Avo Hotel, a quirky but affordable place on Dalston Lane in north London.

After checking into our hotel, we returned to Tate Modern so I could buy a magnet.

Also needed a map because I left mine with Robin. Then we went off walking in rush hour crowds. Ended up in Clerkenwell for a drink. The Artisan was too loud.

Went nearby to the Zetter Hotel lobby lounge.

Dinner was at Modern Pantry where the menu was eclectic fusion with Middle Eastern and Japanese spices and flavours.
