Left Rome. The seven plus days just flew by. Took a cab to Termini station and caught the 9:50 train to Venice.
Wifi on the train didn’t work very well–at least it was free:
Arrived in Venice Santa Lucia station at 1:35 pm:
Took us about 25 minutes to figure out how to get vaporetto tickets–then onto the vaporetta to our Venice rental. The Calatrava bridge near the bus station:

Sid’s bedroom is up a set of stairs with its own bathroom. And the best is the terrace with a view of Santa Salute:
