Went for a walk in the hills behind Cannero Riviera to a medieval settlement and church. Walked past houses clinging to the side of the mountain. The concierge told us it was 100 metres of steep walking then flat. Ha!  Lots of up and down including some serious up near Carmine Superiore, the name of the settlement. Elevation gain of 139 metres according to the map.  At least is was an interesting walk with good views of the lake and some old frescoes on the walls of the church.
