We’re off for two weeks in Spain with an overnight stop in London on each end of our trip.

I’ve been taking Spanish lessons for over a year and have learned many verb conjugations but not a lot of  vocabulary helpful for a traveller. What with our kitchen reno, work and general family issues, we seem to be less prepared than any vacation to a non-English speaking country. At least I can ask where is the bathroom and can order a glass of red wine (vino tinto)!
