We only get 30 minutes out of Brussels when the train stops because a crane has dropped its boom across the tracks.

After an hour wait, we end up in Mechelen with one bus for over 200 people. We share a taxi with a Dutch guy to Antwerp.

Antwerp station has a beautiful interior but the trains we want keep getting cancelled.

We’re now in another taxi going to Rotterdam.

We’re now on the train to Groningen waiting to leave Rotterdam — I hope!
