This is out of chronological order, but here’s a plaque for the new
extension of the Van Gogh Museum:

The permanent collection is quite impressive in terms of the breadth
and depth of paintings and arranged to show Van Gogh’s development as
an painter.

The extension is showing the collection from the nearby Stedelijk
Museum, literally Modern Museum, which is under renovation. No photos
were allowed except in the shop and ticket area. Very crowded– the
problem with being here during tourist seaon.
