I like travelling (usually to Europe) because I want to see art, especially, paintings and architecture. These posts are mostly my visits to museums, churches or walking around buildings. I started this blog because I wanted to add text to my photographs in order to remember what was in the photo and describe the context. The text has evolved in some instances to describing the broader history of what and where, sometimes, incorrectly, for which I blame past instructors, old research and my bad memory.

When I’m not looking at art, I may be tasting the local food and wine. I often photograph food and wine in order to remember what I consumed.

In fact, writing this blog is driven by my inability to remember.
