We had a slow morning as our train leaving Florence was scheduled for 11:55.

When we got to the station, we found out the train was running almost an hour late. Santa Maria Novella station is thin on amenities if you have to wait.

Luckily we had nothing scheduled in Milan.

We made no dinner plans so ate at the hotel. The costoletto (veal cutlet) was good but so much food.
