We drove to a green area in the south of Ottawa where a natural sand pit exits, Conroy. It was a good area for off-leash dog walking as well as nice and flat for mild exercise.

After we bought some sandwiches and Allie found a beer which seemed like a theme for my art history viewing this vacation.

For the afternoon, while Scott napped, I went to peruse a bookstore looking for a back up in case I finished my current reading. A protest in downtown Ottawa stopped traffic in the streets.

We had dinner at Allie and Carmen’s apartment.

Nellie found entertaining guests was exhausting.
