Allie and Carmen were taking the same Toronto Rome flight I took so were scheduled to arrive at 10:50 am and it would take about an hour for them to arrive at the apartment.

I went for a walk in a different area of the neighbourhood. Below is near Villa Borghese.

The morning was a bit hazy.

Allie and Carmen arrived just as we were about to have a quick lunch at the restaurant under the apartment. From there, we walked to the Spanish Steps.

Carmen found cannoli.

Tried more gelato. The additions were unnecessary and in fact, un welcomed.

The city presepe is no longer empty.

After some shopping, we stopped for refreshments and il bagno.

This was followed by some more sightseeing in the area.

Dinner was at Ginger Sapore e Salute which focussed on lighter, healthier dining with a lot of vegetarian options, although our choices were rather meaty.
