Then we found no bikes nearby to rent.  So, plan B, we bussed to the airport west of Nice and walked back.

We tried to go  a beachside bar, but after sitting for 25 minutes with no service, we went elsewhere.

We walked around Vieux Nice some more but our tired feet landed us at our restaurant:

After a big lunch, pizza was more than plenty:

Then back to the flat.
